Excitement is in the air as Nyazura, in Manicaland, plans to welcome a new Christian boarding school in 2022.

As schools open, Tyrannus Academy has made advanced progress to welcome Form 1s in February 2022, and Form 5s later in March 2022. The boarding facility is ready for the two classes in 2022. In 2023 Tyrannus Academy plans to welcome Form 1s, Form 2s, Upper and Lower 6 classes.

The Christian-based institution is inspired by one of the greatest apostles in the Holy Bible, Paul. From teaching in the synagogues, Paul took his disciples with him “and spoke daily in the school/lecture hall of Tyrannus. This went on for two years, so that all the Jews and Greeks who lived in the province of Asia heard the word of the Lord” (Acts 19:8-10, paraphrased). Tyrannus Academy’s aim is to educate, to transform, and produce future generations who reign.

Credit goes to the investors (in Zimbabwe and South Africa) for adding academic color to the province. Also, the regulatory authorities and suppliers who believed in the story. The success of the school also hinges on parents who entrust their children to the school. As the school perfects its systems and infrastructure, Tyrannus Academy implores on parents’ patience.
